Why a loyalty card works for salons

Salon visits are spaced weeks apart, which is exactly when clients drift to the place round the corner. A loyalty card keeps your salon in their pocket between appointments. Because it sits in their phone Wallet, they see their progress every time they open it, not only when they remember a paper card.

How it works at the front desk

Everything runs from your phone. No hardware, no POS integration, nothing for customers to install.

  1. 1

    Invite clients at checkout

Keep the QR code on the desk. Clients scan it while you take payment and the card is saved to their Wallet.

  2. 2

    Stamp after each appointment

Scan their card with your phone or let a stylist do it from theirs. Every stamp is linked to the visit, so nothing is counted twice.

  3. 3

    Treat them on visit five

The app tells you when a reward is ready, so the free treatment never depends on someone remembering.

Rewards that work for salons

  • Every fifth visit, a free treatment or add-on.
  • A points program if prices vary a lot between services.
  • A reward that introduces another service, such as a free hand treatment for colour clients.

You can run a punch card or points, set more than one reward, and change it later without losing anyone's progress. For more ideas, read salon and barbershop loyalty ideas.

Questions from salons

Anything else? Talk to us.

Can my stylists add stamps too?

Yes. Invite your team with a code. Staff can stamp cards from their own phones, while owners keep control of the program and the numbers.

Our services have very different prices. Is a punch card fair?

If prices vary a lot, use points instead: clients earn more for bigger services. You can choose either when you set up.

Do clients have to give their email?

Only if you ask for it. Email is optional by default, and we never sell clients' data.
